The supermodel posted a video to Instagram of her lifting over 100 pounds Kate Upton hip thrusts just hours before hitting up the Vanity Fair Oscar party Sunday night. Back in December, Kate showed off the same landmine Kate Upton deadlifts while her trainer, Ben Bruno, could be heard encouraging her behind the camera. “A lot of woman are scared to lift heavy weights because they fear they’ll bulk up and look masculine,” Bruno told The Insider With Yahoo of Kate’s sweaty workouts. “The key though is to focus on getting stronger on the right things.” Kate Upton Bum Workout
He added that Kate “chases strength gains on squats, deadlifts, and Romanian deadlifts… And she can do over 100 pounds for 10 reps. She does hip thrusts with around 200 pounds for 10 reps and pushes a heavy sled weighing close to 400 pounds.”
Ben also revealed that the Sports Illustrated model steers clear of crash dieting and focuses on eating protein while limiting her sugar and alcohol intake. “Kate has done an amazing job and it’s great to see her inspiring woman to train the right way,” he said.
